Launching of the Academy - Non Profit Initiative
Empowering a Generation of Creators through a Free Academy for Aspiring Artists and Filmmakers
In 2016, under the banner of Rajkumari Kamalasana Films (RKKF) and in collaboration with BIMSUC, the Integrated Creative Academy was launched with an initial cohort of over 100 students. The academy offered intensive training in film production, direction, cinematography, editing, acting, and creative arts. With a mission to foster and empower young talent from the region, the academy became a beacon for future stars and industry leaders.
LATE ELANGBAM SONAMANI SINGH
Late. Shri Elangbam Sonamani, a respected retired IAS officer, was a pioneering force in both public administration and literary advancement in Manipur.
The grandfather of Bimsuc’s founder, Shri Sonamani’s legacy is a source of inspiration, embodying the values of creativity, discipline, and lifelong learning. His unwavering belief in the transformative power of arts and education laid the foundation for what would become a lasting cultural and academic vision.
Under the Lukanand’s initiative, Shri Sonamani inaugrated the academy, symbolizing a meaningful fusion of heritage and forward-thinking innovation. The academy was launched under the banner of Rajkumari Kamalsana Studio, an initiative led by Mr. Lukanand, who continues to carry forward the legacy of excellence in arts and education.

B. JAYANTA KUMAR SHARMA
Late Shri B. Jayenta Kumar was a revered pioneer in the realm of literature and creative arts in Manipur. As a legendary writer and lyricist, his work left an indelible mark on the the founder of Bimsuc,
profoundly influencing his creative and personal development from a young age.
Shri Jayenta Kumar was not merely a mentor but a guiding force, instilling in the founder the values of discipline, imagination, and purpose. His teachings laid the creative and ethical foundation upon which the vision of Bimsuc was built.
Tragically, just before the official launch of the academy, Shri Jayenta Kumar passed away due to a sudden health complication. Though he could not witness the realization of the dream he helped ignite, his spirit continues to be an integral part of Bimsuc’s journey. His voice echoes through every project, every creative endeavor, and every milestone the company achieves on the global stage.

Shri Aribam Syam Sharma, the jewel of Manipuri cinema, is a legendary Indian filmmaker whose body of work has significantly shaped the cinematic and cultural identity of the land.
His acclaimed films have been featured on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including the Cannes Film Festival, solidifying his place as a distinguished voice in international cinema.
In 2016, under the initiative of Mr. Lukanand, the academy was formslly inaugurated by Shri Aribam Syam with a focused mission to preserve the richness of creative education while fostering innovation in technology.
